3	IDENTIFICATION	A] The Infra-Red spectrum of the sample is concordant with that of Glycine std. B] The resulting solution is violet with a greenish yellow fluorescence. After few minutes the solution becomes orange and ten yellow, and the intense fluorescence remains.
4	APPEARANCE OF SOLUTION	A 10% w/v solution in water is clear and not more intensely coloured than reference solution YS7.
